3RD ANNUAL COOKIE DRIVE

"COOKIES FOR GI'S"
We have been collecting donations for Cookies for three years now.  The Cookies are sent to Troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan with some being donated to the USO at Lambert St. Louis Airport.

This program has been very successful with over 6,000 boxes being sent over last year.  Numerous Girl Scout Troops are involved in the program and this year we will be sponsoring young ladies from Troops #1614, #2207 and Troop #60 who bowl at Crestwood Bowl on Saturday mornings where I'm a Certified Bowling Instructor.  We are also sponsoring a young lady from Troop #3939 who's grandmother owns Jilly's Cafe and Steakhouse in High Ridge, Missouri and one young lady from Troop #3566 who's mother is the Secretary and Treasurer of the Faces of Freedom Fighters Foundation.

Please help us reach our goal this year of 10,000 boxes.

All donations and proceeds benefit the Girl Scouts and Brownie Troops listed above.  These cookies are shipped free at no cost by a private organization.

Thank you for supporting our troops!

Our first fundraising event on May 22 was a success at the Grand Slam in Fenton, Missouri.  We received a little over $4,000.00 in contributions and made a lot of new contacts who want to help sponsor our Monument project.

A Special Thanks to Wayne's Auto Sales in Cedar Hill for supplying the Army trucks; the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department for the D.A.R.E. Car; the High Ridge Fire Department and those who came out to the event and showed your true patriotism and support.
